Hello students! We are very excited to announce some up and coming changes. We have recently changed our requirements to gain your Rose City School of Burlesque diploma. We are now having two sessions before you are an official graduate of the school.

Does this mean that Burlesque 101 does not have a recital?
NOOOO we will still be doing a recital on the small stage up front for all your friends and family. This will be a chance to feel what performing is like.

Why do we need to take both classes before graduating?
Some of our prior students have expressed that after their 101 graduation, they feel that it can be difficult. Producers want to have the best performers on stage. The only way to become that performer is with more instruction and stage time. That is where burlesque 201 comes along. If you find that performing is a drug (which we performers concur), then burlesque 201 helps refine your edges and makes it easier to book shows and become an all-star.

I’ve already done 101 and graduated. Do I need to take 201?
If you are a prior graduate, you remain a graduate, but it is highly recommended. Burlesque 201 covers things that we didn’t have time for in burlesque 101. It also allows for a better performance and useful critics that an audience may not be able to share with you.
